Walks

Bootle has a variety of walks. Some flat, steep, uphill and downhill. One of the walks is the very scenic Gibson Spout (also known as Bootle fell)!

GIBSON'S SPOUT

Where you will find the start of the walk is on the main road. You can get to Gibson spout by following the main path for about 10 minutes, until you find a gate on the right side of the wall. Follow that path through the gate for about 3 minutes and you will see a beautiful waterfall!

Gibson’s Spout is a beautiful walk for the family on a pleasant sunny day. On your journey you will find gorgeous wildlife, plants and more! If you walk far enough you will discover a stunning waterfall! Beware of bracken (ticks) and strong currents of the waterfall
